This includes rural or urban ‘not spots’ or other locations facing significant practical or logistical barriers to deployment (like MDUs). Technologies can include, but are not limited to, satellite, fixed wireless and cellular.

The individual can work in a technical or business discipline and must have entered the industry in the last 10 years. The judges will be looking for evidence of outstanding performance, going above and beyond what would normally be expected, and the potential to make a measurable difference in the industry in the future.

This category is open to telecoms operators, infrastructure providers, private equity firms, and advisory bodies involved in UK-based deals within the connectivity industry. Judges are looking for mergers, acquisitions, or investments that have significantly impacted market growth or sector transformation. Submissions should highlight strategic rationale, complexity of execution, and clear evidence of how the deal enhances connectivity infrastructure or creates long-term shareholder and consumer value.

This Award looks to recognise and reward a change, campaign, project or event (internal or external) that has enhanced the environmental credentials of a UK telecom operator or CSP, or is a specific telecom-related sustainability initiative from the public sector delivering results in the period 2024 to 2026.
